Kankakee’s first LIVE and WORK community.

The Co-LAB and new RESIDENCE at Station Street

The former Midland State Bank will be historically rehabilitated into the Co-LAB, a new co-working, start-up, non-profit, and tech hub incubator for Kankakee.

The new RESIDENCE building will offer modern apartment living for Kankakee’s urban dweller.

  • Station Street Site

Located Downtown Kankakee on Station Street, between S. Dearborn and S. Schuyler, this infill revitalization project involved a highly inclusive reimagination of an existing vacant building and adjacent, underutilized parking lot. Realized through a public-private partnership between the City of Kankakee and J. Jeffers & Co., the development will deliver modern residential and office spaces, alongside an equity-based small business incubator/accelerator.
